Description

We are looking for a strong and passionate tech lead to be part of a team and work on a B2B SAAS app for a US company. Opportunity to learn a lot from the industry leaders from Nepal as well as leaders from the US. This position is both rigorous and rewarding by nature you will need to think outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done" spirit. To be successful, you will have solid solving problem skills. The candidate will get a fantastic opportunity to learn how to successfully build a product from scratch and grow the company to be profitable.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product manager to understand how the product works.
• Overcome challenges due to language, culture, and other difference with the product(s) being from the US.
• Work closely with the project manager to deliver features on time.
• Mentor the frontend and the backend team and help them grow professionally.
• Work closely with the Dev-ops team for all things related to staging and release.
• Be on call as needed with the backend and the dev-ops team.
• Work with technical director and fully own most technical aspect of of the application.

Must Have

• 6+ year programming experience.
• Currently already a tech lead or have worked very closely with one for 2+ years.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
• 2+ year of experience in React and/React Native
• 3+ year of experience in NodeJS, Express/NestJS or other frameworks.
• Experience in Typescript.
• Experience in application user Authentication & Authorization.
• Experience in frontend and backend automated testing.
• Experience in managing/modeling/querying relational database.
• Experience in git.
• Experience in Agile/equivalent software development methodology.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in English.

Nice To Have

• CS Bachelor Degree or Higher.
• Familiar with NextJS or Astro.
• Experience in product-first approach to building software.
• Previous startup work experience.
• Some experience in AWS products such as Amplify, Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, EC2.
• Experience with Stripe of equivalent.
• Experience with customer/feature/usage tracking and analytics such as GA/Matomo/Posthog etc.
• Experience with tools used for application monitoring and observability
